Dotflac Fundamentally based on guitar drones not afraid to verge on saturation, the three tracks do really take you up above, actually so much up above that we probably left our world during the listening.

Mesmerizing loops tend to develop their melodic part and gradually lose their noisy side as we progress in Sun Ghosts, reminding me the uncertainty of our destination at first, but ultimately reassured as we reach our new spiritual home.

A great discovery, teasing the LP coming later this year. Favorite track: Sun Ghosts.

about

Sun Ghosts envelopes the listener in swathes of textural ambient drone patterns, a landscape of worn memories left to age and wither in the sun. Continuing the focus he established on Landforms (2012), UK sound artist Wolf Maps has crafted a unique balance of emotive phrasing, and cavernous noise. Sun Ghosts precedes a full length album out later this year on Futuresequence.
